Fårö kursgård
Fårö Kursgård is located on the island of Fårö, just off the northern coast of Gotland in Sweden. The property has historical roots as a wartime preparedness camp and today offers several accommodation options, including hostel-style rooms with bunk beds and shared bathroom facilities, as well as private double rooms with en-suite bathrooms and self-catering cottages. The island is known for its long sandy beaches, distinctive limestone rock formations called raukar, and windswept pine forests. The surroundings are well suited to walking, swimming, and general outdoor exploration. The property also hosts courses and group events throughout its open season, which runs from 1 April to 31 October. It is a straightforward, affordable base for those looking to explore one of Sweden's more remote and scenic island destinations.
