Gräsö Gårds Vandrarhem
Gräsö Gårds Vandrarhem is a hostel set on a historic farmstead on Gräsö island, just a short ferry ride from the coastal town of Öregrund in the Roslagen archipelago of eastern Sweden. The property dates back to the 16th century, when it served as one of King Gustav Vasa's royal farms, and cattle still graze the surrounding land today. Accommodation is available in rental cottages on the farm grounds. A restaurant and grocery store are within easy walking or cycling distance, and a five-minute walk through the countryside leads to the ferry landing, connecting guests to Öregrund's harbour and shops. The island setting makes it a good base for exploring the quiet archipelago landscape, including the old wooden church nearby.
