Gumdal Farm is a historic working farm located in Svorkmo, Orkdal municipality, about 60 kilometres southwest of Trondheim along route 471. The property dates back to at least 1600 and served as an official guesthouse from 1794. Accommodation is available in two restored traditional buildings, a stabbur (storehouse) and a masstue, both equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping areas. The farm is a popular stop for pilgrims walking the Pilgrims' Route. Salmon fishing is available on the farm's own licensed stretch of river, roughly 2 kilometres away, making it a practical base for anglers. The surroundings are quiet and rural.
