Haderslev Vandrerhjem is a modern hostel housed in historic buildings with roots going back to a royal tenancy farm in the 1700s, later serving as a children's home until 1975. Located right on the shores of Haderslev Dam, a shallow elongated lake, the hostel is just a five-minute walk from the town centre. It offers 26 rooms ranging from singles to six-bed rooms, most with private bathroom. Additional accommodation is available in cabins and on an adjacent campsite. The hostel rents out canoes for trips on the lake and has meeting facilities for up to 60 people. Nearby attractions include Haderslev Cathedral and the regional archaeological museum. The hostel is part of the Danhostel network.
