Hajstorps Slusscafé & Vandrarhem
Hajstorps Slusscafé & Vandrarhem is located about 5 km outside Töreboda in the village of Hajstorp, right alongside the Göta Canal. The hostel occupies a charming house built in 1909, originally home to the local blacksmith, and has kept its traditional rural character with vintage wallpaper and homely décor. Accommodation options include beds in the hostel building and three simple four-bed cottages equipped with a kitchenette, bedding, and outdoor furniture. The adjacent canal-side café serves coffee, light lunches, and ice cream, with an emphasis on organic and locally sourced ingredients. The site also has 16 motorhome and caravan pitches with electricity. Cyclists are well catered for, with bike parking, a pump, and phone charging available. The Göta Canal offers excellent opportunities for walking, cycling, and watching canal boats pass through the lock.
