Lillehammer Vandrerhjem
Lillehammer Vandrerhjem is located in the centre of Lillehammer, housed in the town's railway and bus station building, making it an excellent base for travellers using public transport. The hostel offers 10 rooms with 36 beds in total, including private 3- and 4-bed rooms as well as gender-separated dormitory beds. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and are located on the third floor with views toward the city or Lake Mjøsa. A shared guest kitchen is available for self-catering, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner can be purchased at the on-site cafe and restaurant. Lillehammer is known for its 1994 Winter Olympics venues, skiing, and the open-air museum Maihaugen. The hostel is also a registered stop along the Gudbrandsdalsleden pilgrimage route toward Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim. The hostel has been recognised with several hospitality and diversity awards since opening.
