Linnansaaren Ekohostelli

Linnansaaren Ekohostelli is located on the main island of Linnansaari, within Linnansaari National Park near Savonlinna, accessible by boat, canoe, or kayak from the village of Oravi. The hostel consists of five traditional log granaries set in a meadow, each fitted with two bunk beds sleeping four guests. The site also offers Tentsile tree tents for a more adventurous stay. Note that the island has no electricity or running water. Facilities at the campsite include a well, fire pits, a wood-burning sauna available for an extra fee, composting toilets, and a cooking shelter with a wood stove. A kiosk on site sells provisions and rents canoes in summer. Nature trails start directly behind the accommodation. Open May through September. Pets are welcome.
