Officersvillorna

Officersvillorna is a hostel situated on the scenic island of Laxön in Älvkarleby, Uppland, about 50 minutes from Uppsala and 15 minutes from Gävle. The property consists of two villas with 20 rooms and 60 beds, ranging from singles to family rooms sleeping up to six. Both villas have fully equipped shared kitchens and common areas. The hostel primarily caters to groups, wedding parties, and events, with nearby venue spaces available for hire, though individual travelers and smaller groups are also welcome on available dates. Breakfast can be arranged through the adjacent Café Furiren. Laxön itself offers a restaurant, café, and cultural attractions, while the surrounding area is well suited for fishing in the Dalälven river, hiking, and golf. A train stop on Laxön makes the hostel easy to reach without a car.
