På Toppen

På Toppen is a small pilgrim-style hostel and cafe located in Knebel, in the heart of Nationalpark Mols Bjerge, Denmark. Inspired by the albergues of the Camino de Santiago, it welcomes only those arriving on foot or by bicycle — no overnight guests arriving by car. Accommodation is in shared dormitories at 175 DKK per night, including sheets and a blanket. Guests have access to a shared kitchen, shower, and toilet, with coffee, tea, porridge, and oat milk provided free of charge. Optional communal dinners are available if arranged a day in advance. The hostel is open year-round and run by Anne Kristine Munk Mouritsen. Note that the property is not suitable for children or those with limited mobility, and the terrain is uneven. Baggage transport in the local area can be arranged separately.
