Pinetree lodge

Pinetree Lodge is located in Särkimukka, a small village beside Lake Saarijärvi, 150 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle in Pajala kommun, Swedish Lapland. The lodge offers 17 en suite double rooms, a Northern Lights apartment sleeping up to five, three cabins with open fireplaces, six Arctic Living apartments with private terraces facing the lake, plus more rustic options including an off-grid wilderness cabin and aurora hideaway shelters. The on-site restaurant serves locally sourced Lapland ingredients including reindeer and moose, and the Brown Bear Bar stocks locally brewed beer and cloudberry cocktails. A lakeside sauna, jacuzzi, and outdoor activities are available throughout the season. The lodge is home to a husky kennel with over 150 dogs. Open daily from late June to late September, with group bookings available outside this period. The surrounding taiga forest offers excellent conditions for both summer adventures and northern lights viewing in autumn.
