Polhem Bed and Breakfast
Polhem Bed and Breakfast sits within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Falun, directly beside the historic Falu Gruva copper mine in central Sweden. The property dates to the 18th century and offers seven private rooms, including five double rooms and two family rooms, decorated with wooden floors and period-style wallpaper. Several rooms have views over Stora Stöten, the mine's great pit. Rooms are named after master engineers and royalty historically connected to the mine. The guesthouse does not offer dormitory accommodation. A breakfast is included in the bed and breakfast concept. The building also contains Polhemssalen, an event and meeting hall for up to 80 guests. Falun town centre and the mine museum are within easy reach, making this a convenient base for exploring one of Sweden's most significant industrial heritage sites.
