River Lodge Sweden is a small waterfront guesthouse located in the village of Nyfors, within the Malingsbo-Kloten Nature Reserve in Dalarna province, roughly 10 km north of Kloten. The lodge offers four private rooms, including one ground-floor apartment with a quadruple bedroom, private bathroom, and lake view, plus three double rooms on the first floor, all with lake views and access to fully equipped kitchens. The lodge sits directly along canoe, kayak, cycling, and hiking trails, making it a practical base for outdoor activity in the reserve. Canoes, kayaks, bicycles, and rowboats can be rented nearby. A wood-heated sauna at the waterfront is available for an additional fee. Pre-booking is required, with check-in handled at the Nordic Discovery Adventure Center in Kloten. There are no shops in the immediate area, so guests should bring food supplies.
