Skivum Herberg

Skivum Herberg is a simple, community-run hostel located in the small village of Skivum in northern Jutland, Denmark. It sits along the North Jutland section of the Hærvejen, a historic route running from Viborg to Aars and onward to the coast, making it a natural stop for walkers, cyclists, and horse riders. The hostel offers 8 beds plus 2 mattresses in a shared dormitory. Guests must bring their own sleeping bag and towel. Facilities include a kitchen with cooking equipment, a bathroom with shower, and bicycles available for guest use. A small selection of drinks and ready meals is available on site, and a grocery shop is located in Vegger, 3 km away. The hostel is open in June, July, and August only, with no advance reservations — places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Nightly rate is 100 DKK for adults. Booking is by phone.
