STF Bogesunds Vandrarhem

STF Bogesunds Vandrarhem is set in a castle estate within a nature reserve, about 4 kilometres outside the town of Vaxholm in Stockholm's inner archipelago. Accommodation is offered in double rooms and 4-bed dormitories, with shared showers, toilets, and a self-catering kitchen. A sauna is available, and a small café operates on weekends from April to October. Breakfast can be arranged with advance booking. The surrounding Bogesund estate has marked hiking trails, and the area is popular for mountain biking, berry picking, and cross-country skiing in winter. A swimming spot is under a kilometre away, and a golf course is about 1 kilometre from the hostel. Vaxholm, reachable by bus or boat, offers waterfront dining, shops, and the historic Vaxholm Fortress. Pets are welcome in designated rooms.
