STF Finnhamns Vandrarhem

STF Finnhamns Vandrarhem is a historic yellow landmark building that has served visitors to the Stockholm archipelago for over 100 years. Located on the island of Finnhamn, reachable by Waxholmsbolaget ferries from Stockholm or by private boat, the hostel offers 28 rooms with a total capacity of around 87 beds. A fully equipped shared kitchen is available, and breakfast is included in the room price from midsummer to mid-August. The hostel has a restaurant with a rooftop bar, a sauna, canoe rental, and a small shop. Nearby you'll find a sandy beach, an outdoor gym, beach volleyball, and walking trails across the nature reserve, which spans three connected islands with old-growth forest, rich birdlife including five woodpecker species, and the occasional white-tailed eagle. Dogs are welcome in designated cottages. The hostel is open year-round, though outside summer it caters mainly to larger groups.
