STF Lotstornet Aspö

STF Lotstornet Aspö is a unique hostel housed in a 20-metre-tall pilot lookout tower built during World War II, located on the small island of Aspö outside Karlskrona in Blekinge. The tower contains five private rooms, each named after a lighthouse visible from its windows, all with private bathrooms and panoramic views in every direction. The top observation deck is open to guests. Aspö is reached by a free 25-minute car ferry from Karlskrona. The island offers swimming, hiking, cycling, and a visit to Drottningskär Castle. Breakfast is available, and a garden provides space to relax between activities. Bike rental, wifi, and EV charging are on site. The hostel can also accommodate small conferences and groups.
