STF Nätsjö Udde Grythyttan

STF Nätsjö Udde is a small, off-grid wilderness retreat located on a pine headland by Lake Nätsjön in northeastern Bergslagen, a couple of hours from Örebro. With just four beds, guests stay in cozy log cabins with made-up beds and wake up to the sound of water and open lake views. The property runs entirely without mains electricity and uses eco-certified facilities throughout. A self-catering kitchen is available, along with a sauna, canoe and outdoor equipment rental, and a small shop selling provisions. Activities include hiking, fishing, paddling, and SUP boarding. The surrounding forests and waterways are rich in wildlife, including the common loon. Host Kerstin and her dog Sam offer a personal, welcoming atmosphere. The hostel is best reached by car; pickup from Hällefors can be arranged for those arriving by public transport.
