STF Prinsvillan
STF Prinsvillan is a charming nine-room hostel set within the grounds of Tyresö Castle Park, around 20 kilometres southeast of Stockholm. The property occupies a historic building that once served as a trading post and later a holiday residence for Prince Eugen in 1894. All rooms are private, fitted with linen sheets, and breakfast is included in the room rate. Guests have access to a shared self-catering kitchen, sauna, and a pleasant garden. The castle itself, dating from the 1630s and part of the Nordic Museum, is right on the doorstep, with walking trails, a beach, and kayaking all nearby. Cafés and a restaurant are within walking distance. Bus connections to Stockholm are available close to the hostel. The property is owned by the Church of Sweden and operated with a sustainability focus.
