STF Skutskepparn och Högbondens fyr

STF Skutskepparn och Högbondens fyr is actually two connected properties in the High Coast (Höga Kusten) UNESCO World Heritage area near Nordingrå. Skutskepparn Kuststation is a cosy bed and breakfast in the old fishing hamlet of Barsta, offering private rooms with breakfast included, a restaurant, and direct access to nearby hiking trails and a swimming spot. From the jetty here, guests can take a boat to the second property, Högbondens fyr, a hostel-standard lighthouse keeper's residence perched dramatically on cliff edges on the island of Högbonden — Sweden's second highest lighthouse site. On Högbonden, guests stay in basic dorm-style accommodation with a shared kitchen; breakfast and a herring platter are available for purchase. Between them, the two properties offer 9 rooms and between 11 and 25 beds. Pets are welcome in designated rooms at Skutskepparn.
