STF Smygehuk Fyr

STF Smygehuk Fyr is a unique hostel set in the lighthouse keeper's cottage at Smygehuk, just a few hundred metres from the southernmost tip of Sweden. With only 4 beds across a small number of private double and family rooms, it offers an intimate stay with genuine character. Guests have access to a self-catering kitchen and a large garden with sea views. The historic lighthouse itself is on site, and the surrounding area is well suited to walking, cycling, and coastal exploration. A café and an on-site restaurant serving locally sourced food are both available nearby. Public transport connections to Trelleborg and Ystad make the location reasonably accessible despite its remote feel. A genuinely unusual place to spend a night on the Swedish coast.
