STF Vandrarhem Sävö

STF Sävö Vandrarhem is located on the car-free island of Sävö in the Södermanland archipelago, roughly an hour from Stockholm. Getting there requires a short ten-minute boat crossing from Källvik harbour on the mainland, which must be prebooked. The hostel is set within a nature and cultural reserve between Trosa and Nyköping, and offers 25 beds across seven rooms in two renovated historic buildings. Shared showers and eco-friendly toilets are in a separate building. Two well-equipped guest kitchens are available for self-catering, and a breakfast buffet can be added at booking. A small café serves lighter meals and snacks. Glamping tents with sea views are also available. Activities on the island include hiking along Sörmlandsleden, kayaking, fishing, and sauna. Canoes can be hired on site.
