Thornégården is a hostel located in Kristineberg, a small mining community in northern Sweden. The building was originally constructed as the residence of mine director Sven Thornée and today houses 11 rooms. On site there is a restaurant serving weekday lunches and Friday evening dinners during the September to May period, as well as a small convenience store open most weekdays. The property also serves as a local tourist information point. Kristineberg is known for the nearby Sankta Anna Underground Church, an unusual chapel situated inside a former mine, which is well worth a visit. The hostel can be reached by phone or email for bookings and further information. A petrol station is located adjacent to the property.
