Tjärö Hotell och Vandrarhem is located on the island of Tjärö, accessible from Karlshamn in southern Sweden. Accommodation is spread across nine charming 19th-century houses with a total of 125 beds in 48 rooms. Room options range from singles to five-bed rooms, with some having private bathroom facilities and others sharing corridor bathrooms. Two small cottages sleeping four to five guests are also available, both situated close to the water. A central service building houses shared showers, a sauna open each evening, and a self-catering kitchen. Camping on the meadow is permitted for a small fee. Breakfast is available at an additional cost. The island setting offers plenty of outdoor activities, and the historic wooden houses give the place a distinctly traditional character.
