Tuntsan Tunturilomat

Tuntsan Tunturilomat is a wilderness accommodation complex situated beside Naruskajärvi lake in northern Salla, close to the Russian border. The main building houses two one-bedroom apartments with kitchen facilities, two double rooms, and a pub. Two additional three-bedroom apartments with kitchens and shower facilities sit nearby. The more remote Tuntsan Pirtti cottage, set on the bank of the Tuntsajoki river, sleeps up to 20 people and offers a rustic experience with candlelight, a riverside sauna, and an outhouse. The main complex also has two saunas and a lean-to shelter. The surrounding Tuntsa wilderness is roadless and uninhabited, making it a genuine off-grid destination. Marked hiking and snowmobile trails run through varied terrain. This is a solid base for anyone looking to explore true Lapland wilderness without other settlements nearby.
