Villa Plantaget

Villa Plantaget is a charming hostel housed in a grand 1904 building constructed in the National Romantic style, set within Plantaget, one of Alingsås's central parks. The property includes rooms with and without en-suite facilities, a guest kitchen with dining area, and a common room. An annex provides additional accommodation. The location is hard to beat — the town center is a 5-minute walk, the train station connecting Stockholm and Göteborg is around 700 meters away, and Nolhaga Park with its adventure pool, children's farm, and lookout tower is just 600 meters from the door. A 15-minute walk brings you to Playa Mjörn for open-water swimming. The hostel also runs an on-site café, Marieborgs Bageri, open seasonally and serving smørrebrød and baked goods. A solid base for exploring both Alingsås and the wider Gothenburg region.
