Ølgård Vandrehjem

Ølgård Vandrehjem is a relaxed, informal hostel located in Vejle Kommune in central Jutland, well placed for pilgrims and hikers along the ancient Hærvejen trail. The facility offers 22 rooms sleeping up to 60 guests in total, spread across newly built premises. Two event halls accommodate groups of 60 and 130 respectively, making it a popular choice for school trips, family gatherings, courses, and celebrations with overnight stays. Guests have access to shared kitchens and can arrange their own catering or bring in outside food. The large garden includes a lawn for ball games, a playground, and animals including horses. The hostel runs on biomass heating and solar panels, making it approximately 90 percent climate neutral. Cleaning can be handled by guests or arranged through the hostel for an additional fee.
