Statarlängan is a historic hostel located in Hörnefors, a small industrial heritage village about 30 kilometres south of Umeå in northern Sweden. The building originally housed farm labourers and has been carefully renovated while retaining its traditional character, including a room preserved as a small museum. Guests stay in private rooms for one to four people, each with a washbasin; showers and toilets are shared. A fully equipped communal kitchen is available, along with laundry facilities. The hostel sits just 90 metres from the Botniabanan train stop and close to the E4 motorway, making it easy to reach. The surrounding area offers riverside walking trails, fishing, nearby swimming spots, and a neoclassical church dating from 1796. Pets are welcome in a dedicated section. The hostel is run by local pensioners' organisations.
