STF Vandrarhem Borensberg/Glasbruket

STF Vandrarhem Borensberg/Glasbruket sits on a peninsula between the Göta Canal and the Motala river in the small town of Borensberg, roughly halfway between Linköping and Motala. The hostel occupies renovated late 19th-century buildings that once housed workers from the local glassworks. Accommodation ranges from guest rooms sleeping one to six people to apartments with private kitchen and bathroom. The site is open April through September and also welcomes campervans, caravans, and tents, with both powered and unpowered pitches available. An on-site summer café serves baked goods, waffles, and locally produced drinks. Outdoor activities include canoeing and kayaking, cycling, hiking, crayfish fishing in autumn, and a sauna with a dip in the Motala river. The canal locks and Borensberg village centre are just over a kilometre away.
