Furulid

Furulid is a camping and cottage site located at Varamobaden in Motala, southeastern Sweden, just a short walk from a several-kilometre-long sandy beach on Lake Vättern. Accommodation is offered in the form of camping pitches and cabins in a peaceful, natural setting by the water. The site is run by Equmeniakyrkan Motala and has a friendly, community feel, with a summer programme featuring music and song, and a traditional Midsummer celebration that draws many visitors. Café Furulid is open daily during the season, serving lunch, waffles, ice cream, and classic Swedish fika. Reception is open daily from 9am to 4pm, with late arrivals handled by phone. The site is easy to reach from Road 50, following signs for Varamobaden.
