Borghamn Strand

Borghamn Strand sits at the foot of Omberg hill on the eastern shore of Lake Vättern in the small village of Borghamn, southern Sweden. Accommodation ranges from hostel-style rooms and cottages to private double rooms and suites, all housed in historic cultural buildings. The property is open from April to November. Guests have access to two shared kitchens, and breakfast as well as evening meals are available with advance booking. The restaurant serves locally sourced fish, game, and vegetarian dishes. A wood-fired sauna on the pier and a hot tub are available for hire. Activity options include kayak and canoe rental, e-bike hire, crayfish fishing, and boat trips. Two long-distance walking trails pass directly through the property, including the St Birgitta pilgrimage route toward Vadstena.
