STF Ödeshög Hembygdsgård & Vandrarhem

STF Ödeshög Hembygdsgård & Vandrarhem is set within a historic open-air heritage park in the small town of Ödeshög, close to the eastern shore of Lake Vättern. The hostel occupies several historic buildings dating from the 17th to 19th centuries, including Granliden, a furnished 18th-century farmhouse, and Slöjdvillan, a villa in Old Norse style. Both buildings have shared guest kitchens. A couple of smaller cottages are also available and welcome pets. No breakfast is offered, but a grocery store and bakery are within easy reach in town. Ödeshög is well placed for outdoor activities, with the Östgötaleden hiking trail — designated one of STF's twelve Signature Trails — passing nearby, along with cycling routes and attractions such as Omberg Nature Reserve, Alvastra Abbey ruins, and the Rök Runestone. Check-in is handled by a code sent by email.
