Vandrarhem Bull-August gård

Vandrarhem Bull-August gård is a quiet farmstead hostel situated in the middle of Arholma, a car-free island in the Stockholm archipelago. The property includes an old main house, a bakehouse, and a farm wing, spread across 14 rooms. Guests share bathrooms and showers. The hostel is affiliated with STF, and members receive a discount on accommodation. Arholma is reached by passenger boat, with the hostel sitting about 900 metres from the jetty. Since no cars are permitted on the island, transport is by bicycle, cargo moped, or on foot, which adds to the relaxed pace. The surrounding landscape features fields, meadows, and forest. The hostel is open almost year-round, though bookings during October to April are handled by email. A small general store near the harbour is also operated by the same owners.
