STF Anaris Fjällstuga

STF Anaris Fjällstuga is a rustic mountain cabin built in 1930, located just outside the eastern part of Vålådalen Nature Reserve in Åre municipality, in a low mountain area with boulder-rich terrain. The cabin sleeps 10 guests across two rooms, a 4-bed room and a 6-bed room, with bunk beds and wood stoves for heating. A caretaker is on site during opening periods. Guests self-cater using the shared kitchen and are expected to chop wood, fetch water, and clean up after themselves. The surrounding landscape is dotted with lakes, streams, and bogs, making it popular for mountain fishing. Hiking and ski trails start right at the door, and the peak Stora Anahögen at 1,433 metres is within reach. The cabin is open in winter and summer seasons and is accessible via an 18 km hike or ski from Vallbo. Pets are allowed in the 4-bed room.
