STF Grövelsjön Fjällstation

STF Grövelsjön Fjällstation sits 816 metres above sea level on the slopes of Långfjället in the Dalarna mountains, near the Norwegian border and about 40 kilometres from Idre. The station offers a range of accommodation options, from rooms with private facilities to shared-bathroom alternatives, with both half-board and full-board options or a self-catering kitchen available. A KRAV-certified restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner using organic and locally sourced ingredients. The surrounding area offers extensive marked hiking and cross-country skiing trails directly from the door, plus several nature reserves on both sides of the border. On site you will find a sauna, sports and equipment rental including skis and bikes, a well-stocked shop, and guided activities for all experience levels. The station holds a Green Key environmental certification and has free parking with electric vehicle charging points.
