STF Storrödtjärn Fjällstuga

STF Storrödtjärn Fjällstuga is a traditional mountain cabin located in Långfjällets Nature Reserve in Älvdalens kommun, near the border with Rogens Nature Reserve and close to Töfsingdalens National Park. The cabin sits above the treeline and offers sweeping views across the surrounding landscape. It sleeps up to 10 guests in shared rooms with bunk beds, heated by wood stoves. A resident host is on site to welcome guests. The cabin operates on a self-catering basis with a shared kitchen, and guests are expected to chop wood, fetch water, and clean up after themselves. Marked hiking and winter trails pass within a kilometre. The area has historical ties to Sami culture and reindeer herding continues today. The nearest access point is STF Grövelsjön Fjällstation, around 22 kilometres away. The cabin is open during winter and summer seasons only.
