Location map

STF Holmöns Prästgård is a charming 19th-century vicarage located in the historic village centre of Holmön, a small inhabited island north of Umeå that forms part of one of Sweden's largest marine nature reserves. The hostel offers rooms accommodating groups and families, with capacity for up to 25 guests. The spacious house is fully equipped with a self-catering kitchen, showers, toilets, and a sauna. Bicycles can be hired at the nearby boat museum to explore the island, and marked hiking trails, cross-country ski tracks, and a swimming spot are all within one kilometre. In summer, outdoor performances and film evenings are held on the property. Holmön is reached year-round by ferry or hovercraft from Norrfjärden, roughly 30–40 minutes from Umeå by car. The crossing itself is free of charge.
