STF Stensdalen Fjällstuga

STF Stensdalen Fjällstuga is a remote mountain cabin run by the Swedish Tourist Association, located in birch forest along the Stensån river at 800 metres elevation in Vålådalen Nature Reserve, around 13 kilometres west of Vålådalen. The cabin has 34 beds spread across two buildings, with rooms sleeping four or six guests. Accommodation is simple and self-catering, with gas stoves, shared kitchen facilities, a drying room, and a sauna. A resident host is on site during opening hours. A small shop sells provisions and some outdoor equipment. The cabin is car-free, most easily reached on foot from Vålådalen, where parking is available. It sits on marked hiking and winter trails and forms part of the Vålådalsfyrkanten trail circuit. Pets are allowed in designated rooms. The cabin is open in winter and summer seasons only.
