Kebnekaise fjällstation

STF Kebnekaise Fjällstation is a full-service mountain station at the foot of Sweden's highest peak, located 19 kilometres from the nearest road end at Nikkaluokta in northern Lapland. Reaching it requires a day's hike or ski tour, making it a destination in itself. The station offers dormitory-style lodging in historic turn-of-the-century buildings as well as two- and four-bed rooms in nearby annexes, with a total of 100 beds. A sauna and relaxation area with mountain views are available to all guests. The restaurant Elsa's Kitchen serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner using local game and fish, with daily vegetarian options. A shared self-catering kitchen, shop, ski and outdoor equipment rental, and guided summit tours are also available. The station sits directly on Kungsleden and is open during winter and summer seasons only. Dogs are welcome in designated rooms.
