STF Vistas Fjällstuga

STF Vistas Fjällstuga is a remote mountain cabin located in Kiruna municipality in northern Sweden, situated on the banks of the Vistasjåkka river along the trail between Alesjaure and Nikkaluokta. The cabin accommodates 30 guests across two buildings with shared dormitory-style rooms, a self-catering kitchen, and a sauna. A resident warden is on site during opening seasons. Guests are expected to chop wood, fetch water, and clean up after themselves. Note that only cash is accepted — no card or Swish payments. The surrounding Kebnekaise massif offers hiking, wildlife spotting, and glacier views. A waterfall is within a few kilometres. The cabin is roughly 34 km from Nikkaluokta, reachable on foot or partly by boat in summer. Nearest neighbouring STF cabins are Nallo (9 km) and Alesjaure (18 km). Open late February to mid-April and late June to early September.
