STF Tjäktja Fjällstuga
STF Tjäktja Fjällstuga is a mountain cabin situated along Kungsleden, Sweden's famous long-distance hiking trail, at around 1,000 metres above sea level near Tjäktja Pass — the highest point on the entire route. Located in Kiruna municipality in Swedish Lapland, the cabin offers 33 beds spread across one 15-bed room and three 6-bed rooms. Guests share a communal self-catering kitchen and a drying room. There is no mobile coverage at the cabin, though the warden has a phone available for emergencies. The area offers excellent hiking and ski touring, with views toward the Kebnekaise massif and the Norwegian border. Wolverines are occasionally spotted nearby. The cabin is open in winter and summer seasons and is most easily reached on foot or by ski from STF Alesjaure to the north or STF Sälka to the south, with Abisko or Nikkaluokta as common starting points.
