STF Unna Allakas Fjällstuga
STF Unna Allakas Fjällstuga is a remote mountain cabin with 18 beds located about 39 kilometres southwest of Abisko in Kiruna municipality, close to the Norwegian border. The guesthouse offers dormitory-style rooms sleeping 4, 6, and 8 guests, with bunk beds and wood-burning stoves for heat. A shared self-catering kitchen with a wood-fired stove and baking oven is available, along with a sauna. Guests are expected to chop wood, fetch water from a nearby stream, and clean up after themselves. A resident warden is on site during the open seasons. The cabin is accessible on foot from Abisko or Katterjokk, both roughly 35 kilometres away, or via a shorter route from Norway through Skjomen. Nearby highlights include the historic 17th-century mining area of Sjangeli and the dramatic Storsteinsfjellet. Note that there is no shop on site.
