STF Abiskojaure Fjällstuga

STF Abiskojaure Fjällstuga is a mountain cabin located in Abisko National Park, roughly 14 kilometres south of Abisko, sitting beside the clear alpine lake Abiskojaure. It lies along both Kungsleden and Nordkalottleden, making it a natural stopping point for hikers and ski tourers. The main guest cabin sleeps 41 in shared rooms with bunk beds and wood-burning stoves, while a smaller forest cabin accommodates an additional 12 guests and allows dogs. Facilities include two self-catering kitchens, a sauna, a drying room, and an on-site shop. The cabin has been adapted for wheelchair users since 2017. A sandy, shallow beach by the lake is suitable for swimming. There is no mobile phone coverage at the cabin. Open in winter and summer seasons only.
