STF Kårsavagge Fjällstuga
STF Kårsavagge Fjällstuga is a small mountain cabin tucked into a dramatic and secluded valley in Kiruna municipality, northern Sweden. The name Kårsa refers to the ravine the valley sits in, surrounded by steep slopes on all sides. The cabin has 10 regular beds plus a few extra, spread across 2 rooms, with kitchens located within the sleeping areas. A resident cabin host is on site. Guests are expected to chop wood, fetch water from the stream, and clean up after themselves. One room doubles as a safety room and allows dogs. The cabin is a popular overnight destination reachable on foot from STF Abisko Turiststation, approximately 14 km away, or around 10 km from Låktatjåkka Fjällstation. Marked hiking and winter trails pass within 1 km. The cabin is open during winter and summer seasons only.
