STF Abisko Turiststation

STF Abisko Turiststation is located inside Abisko National Park in northern Sweden, 250 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle and about 100 kilometres from Kiruna. With 377 beds spread across hotel rooms, the Keron hostel building, and cottages, there are options for different budgets and group sizes. The station sits at the northern starting point of the Kungsleden trail, with views over Lapporten and Lake Torneträsk. Visitors come year-round for the northern lights, midnight sun, hiking, and skiing. A cable car runs up to the Aurora Sky Station on Mount Nuolja. On-site facilities include a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner using local ingredients, a shared kitchen, sauna, drying room, laundry, and a gear shop with rental equipment. Guided activities are available across seasons. A train station is directly opposite the property.
