STF Hukejaure Fjällstuga
STF Hukejaure Fjällstuga is a remote mountain cabin located on the Nordkalottleden trail in Gällivare municipality, northern Sweden, west of Sälka and the Kungsleden route. The cabin sits near the Norwegian border, roughly 40 kilometres north of Ritsem, in a rugged and hilly landscape. It offers 20 beds in dormitory-style rooms with shared self-catering facilities. Guests are expected to chop wood, fetch water, and clean up after themselves. The surrounding area is known for excellent fishing, particularly Arctic char, and a surprisingly rich flora. There is no mobile coverage at the cabin, and payment is by cash only. Dogs are welcome in designated rooms. The cabin is open during winter and summer seasons and can be reached via marked trails from STF Sitasjaure, STF Sälka, or STF Singi fjällstugor.
