STF Aigert Fjällstuga
STF Aigert Fjällstuga is a mountain cabin located on Kungsleden, around 8 kilometres southwest of Ammarnäs in Sorsele municipality, northern Sweden. The cabin sits at the foot of Äijvisåive, a mountain considered sacred by the Sami people. With 26 beds spread across two cabins, accommodation is simple and communal: expect shared bunk rooms with wood-burning stoves and self-catering facilities. Guests are expected to chop wood, fetch water, and clean up after themselves. A resident host is on site during opening seasons. A wood-fired sauna and a small nearby tarn are popular with guests, as is the surrounding wilderness. Marked hiking and winter trails are less than a kilometre away. A small shop sells provisions and some outdoor equipment. Dogs are permitted in designated rooms. The cabin is open in winter and summer seasons only.
