STF Tärnasjö Fjällstuga

STF Tärnasjö Fjällstuga is a mountain cabin located in a birch forest clearing beside Lake Tärnasjön, deep within the Vindelfjällen Nature Reserve in northern Sweden. With 26 beds spread across two buildings, accommodation is in shared rooms with bunk beds and wood-burning stoves. The main building includes a 10-bed room, two 4-bed rooms, and a 2-bed room, along with a shared self-catering kitchen, a drying room, and an on-site shop. The smaller cabin accommodates pets. Guests are expected to chop wood, fetch water, and clean up after themselves. The cabin sits on the Kungsleden trail between Ammarnäs and Hemavan, making it a natural stop for hikers and cross-country skiers. Mobile coverage is limited. Open in winter and summer seasons only.
