STF Serve Fjällstuga

STF Serve Fjällstuga is a mountain cabin located on the slope leading down to the Servejokken river, along the Kungsleden trail between Ammarnäs and Hemavan in northern Sweden. The facility has 30 beds spread across two buildings, with one ten-bed room and three four-bed rooms. Guests share a large communal kitchen and a drying room. Rooms are heated by wood stoves or wood-burning stoves, with a gas heater in the drying room. A caretaker lives on site. There is no mobile phone coverage at the cabin. The surrounding area is known for rich birdlife and varied flora, particularly waders and passerines on the heathland and bogs. Nearby waterfalls and viewpoints offer easy day excursions. The cabin is roughly 22 kilometres from Ammarnäs, with a shorter route possible using seasonal boat transport across the lakes. Open in winter and summer seasons.
