STF Aktse Fjällstuga

STF Aktse Fjällstuga is a remote mountain cabin run by the Swedish Tourist Association, located on the northern shore of Lake Laitaure in Jokkmokks kommun, northern Sweden. It sits at the gateway to Sarek National Park and along Kungsleden between Saltoluokta and Kvikkjokk, roughly 33 km from Saltoluokta and 40 km from Kvikkjokk. The facility offers dorm-style accommodation across four rooms sleeping between 26 and 50 guests in total, with bunk beds and wood-burning stoves for heat. Guests self-cater using the shared kitchen. A small on-site shop sells provisions and some outdoor equipment. A sauna is available, and marked hiking and winter trails begin within 1 km. Reaching Aktse requires a boat crossing regardless of direction along Kungsleden; regular boat services operate during summer season. A resident host is on site throughout the open season. Pets are permitted in designated rooms.
