STF Njunjes Fjällstuga
STF Njunjes Fjällstuga is a mountain cabin run by the Swedish Tourist Association, located about 15 kilometres west of Kvikkjokk in Jokkmokks kommun, within the Padjelanta national park area. The cabin sits on a rocky outcrop beside the river Tarraätno in the eastern part of Tarradalen valley. It offers two ten-bed dormitory rooms with self-catering kitchens, wood-burning stoves, and bunk beds. One room permits dogs. A resident host is on site. The cabin serves as the first stop on the Padjelantaleden trail, which runs north to Ritsem. The surrounding valley is known for wildlife including elk, wolverine, and bear, as well as good fishing year-round. Nearby points of interest include the Ahkalmfallet waterfall and the ancient offering site at Passeuksa. The cabin is open in winter and summer seasons. Guests are expected to chop wood, fetch water, and clean up after themselves.
